Hiba Academy Nantong (HAN) has proudly launched its full boarding programme, marking a significant milestone in the school’s development as a flagship bilingual boarding school in China.
Led by HAN Master, Simon Kenworthy, and supported by Rachel Loaring, the new programme expands beyond daily and weekly boarding to include weekends, offering pupils a complete residential experience. This initiative reflects HAN’s commitment to nurturing independence, community, and holistic growth in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to the boarding launch, HAN introduced a Sixth Form Scholarship Programme in 2025. Six students from across the wider Wellington College International community were awarded this prestigious opportunity, which covers tuition, travel, and boarding costs. The scholarship will continue to be offered for the 2026/27 academic year, further strengthening HAN’s role in providing access to world-class education.
Together, these launches highlight HAN’s ambition to set new standards in bilingual boarding education, blending Wellington’s ethos with the local context to create a truly global learning environment.
