This year, our pioneering IGCSE cohort finished a vital chapter of their educational journey. Consequently, this achievement marks a highly significant moment in the history of Wellington College International Pune. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.
A Night of Reflection and Connection
To recognize this special occasion, our pupils gathered for a wonderful evening. The event overflowed with conversations, laughter, and heartfelt reflections. Moreover, it was a beautiful evening shared by the students and the dedicated people who supported them. This strong support system truly defines our network.
Making the celebration even more memorable, James Dahl, Headmaster of Wellington College, and Joel Worrall, International Director at Wellington College International, traveled all the way from the UK to Pune to join the festivities. Their presence highlighted the strong, positive network that connects our global educational family.
They were joined by an esteemed group of school leaders, faculty, and special guests. This distinguished group included Mr. Nigel Fossey MBE, Dr. Victoria Gardner, Ms. Katherine Kelly, Ms. Kasthoorie Kumanan, and Ms. Janki Kadakia, alongside Mr. James Dahl and Mr. Joel Worrall.
It was deeply moving to see educators and leaders from across our network come together to celebrate these remarkable young learners. This shared moment of reflection underscored the power of our global community and the unwavering support systems we provide to our students as they reach these pivotal academic milestones.
As our very first IGCSE cohort, these incredible pupils have helped shape a tradition that future Wellingtonians will proudly follow. They have set a brilliant example of dedication and academic excellence for the years to come.
This is a beautiful first chapter, and certainly one to remember. We are incredibly happy with the success of this cohort and the bright futures that lie ahead for each of them.
