Fiona Carter, our International Director, following her recent two-week journey. Fiona’s trip spanned several events, including the grand 10th birthday celebration of Wellington College International Shanghai, the Festival of Education at Wellington College Bangkok, and GESS Dubai. At GESS Dubai, she had the honour of presenting Wellington’s aspirations for establishing a new school in the Middle East.
Throughout her travels, Fiona connected with colleagues from Wellington College campuses in China, India, Jakarta, and the UK. Their participation in the Festival of Education in Bangkok facilitated valuable meetings with international bursars, senior and primary school leaders, as well as discussions on Jan Dubiel’s ongoing project focusing on a framework for progressive learning behaviours in early childhood education.
Fiona emphasised the strengthening of genuine networking among the schools and expressed her admiration for being part of the core Wellington College International team in England. She looks forward to the continued developments and collaborations in the upcoming academic year.
