Wellington College International Shanghai

Wellington College Shanghai was recognised in a recent Hurun report as the best international school in Shanghai.

Wellington College International Shanghai opened in 2014 and has been awarded numerous accolades, including being recognised as the best school in the city in a recent Hurun report.

Shanghai is one of the most exciting cities in the world and the school reflects this in its outstanding location in the New Bund Area, a rapidly developing, modern, commercial and cultural district in Pudong.

Alongside the Huangpu River, this large school has world-class facilities including indoor and outdoor sports amenities as well as high tech classrooms and inspiring spaces for the performing arts. Younger age groups learn in a purpose- built Early Years Centre and the main campus houses a vibrant sixth form for IBDP students. Results consistently and significantly exceed global averages and are widely celebrated.

“I have Wellington to thank for learning about contemporary music. I love that I have friends here who I can jam with. The diversity of perspectives here has also helped shape who I am. I have friends here with aspirations to become chemists, pilots, lawyers. They are so insightful and inspiring.”
