Speech Day 2025 was a true reflection of everything that makes Wellington College extraordinary. We were thrilled to welcome guests from our international schools, giving them the opportunity to experience the unique spirit of Wellington College UK first-hand.
The day was filled with energy and creativity, from lively house lunches that brought families and friends together to inspiring exhibitions in the Art School and Kent Building, showcasing innovation across Fine Art, Textiles, Photography, and Design Engineering & Technology.
Sporting highlights included thrilling tennis finals and a spirited cricket match between WCCC and OWCC, alongside breath taking performances from the Field Gun crew and a dramatic cavalry charge on Bigside. A new addition for 2025, Welly Unplugged filled the Woodland Quad with incredible musical talent, adding even more vibrancy to an unforgettable day.
As always, the action paused for one of the most iconic Wellington traditions—the Master’s Callover—a moment that tied generations of Wellingtonians together.
