Wellington College Eco-Tournament—a week-long, student-led initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and action among our international school community.
Facilitated by Ana Romero, Head of Sustainability, the tournament challenged students to engage with key topics such as water conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint management.
Congratulations to Wellington College Tianjin on being named this year’s champion. The winning team—Michael, Ada, Stacy, Yoyo, Sharon, Youling, Emalee, and Amber—demonstrated exceptional knowledge and leadership throughout the competition.
As recipients of the £500 sustainability grant, these students will now develop and implement a climate action project of their own design, contributing meaningful solutions to both local and global environmental challenges.
The Eco-Tournament reflects the shared values and collective effort with the WCE network to empower future leaders in environmental stewardship.
