On 13 May 2025, Wellington College proudly welcomed HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh to officially open Elizabeth House, the College’s newest co-educational Sixth Form boarding house, named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
Reflecting Wellington’s global ethos, the tour was led by Poon T, Deputy Head of House and alumnus of Wellington College International School Bangkok, showcasing the strong connections across the Wellington College Education network. The visit also highlighted the contributions of Ed Wai, Group Estates Bursar, whose expertise in campus development and operational strategy has strengthened Wellington’s presence internationally.
Elizabeth House stands as a testament to Wellington’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and global education, providing Sixth Form pupils with a world-class environment to learn, grow, and prepare for their future.
