Wellington College International has been named Private School Operator of the Year at the Education Investment Awards 2026. Joel Worrall and Paul Vanni accepted the award on the night, but the recognition belongs to colleagues across the entire global community, reflecting the dedication and expertise of every member of the team. It also caps a period of remarkable growth for the organisation, with five new schools opening in just three years, from Jakarta and San Francisco to Nigeria, Qatar, and now Kenya.
While this is a proud milestone, Wellington College International believes that education is never really about awards, school numbers, or global reach. In its purest sense, it is about the learning journey, and the measures that matter most are often the quietest ones: a first choice university place, certainly, but also writing a first sentence, scoring a first goal, and forming friendships that last a lifetime, all underpinned by genuine wellbeing, mental health, and self-awareness.
